Bartłomiej Dmitruk, Senior Country Officer of Haitong Bank's Warsaw branch, pointed out that mid-2016 is proving to be a period of relative stability, with the consumer spending improving from last year and the construction market stabilizing.
Bartłomiej mentioned that the key areas of the this “new” economy is related to consumption: autos, airline passengers and communications' revenues are all strengthening over the last three months. This trend will probably continue for the next quarter, taking into account the low comparative base, especially when it comes to auto sales in 2015.
"As for the "old" economy, the outlook is not looking as good as it was six months ago, but the situation is relatively good. I predict that the Chinese government will continue to pump a lot of money in infrastructure investments, which should stabilize the level of economic growth", concluded Bartłomiej Dmitruk.
