On May 29th, 2017, Polish-Chinese Commerce Association (Polsko Chinska Rada Biznesu PCRB) held a meeting with the Jiangsu delegation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), with an aim to introduce the commercial, investment and legal environment of Poland as well as the relevant matters that Chinese investors have to pay attention to when entering the Polish market. PCRB also presented the leading financial, tax and legal service providers in the Polish market, hoping for a closer communication between the companies from Jiangsu Province and Poland.
As a member of the PCRB, Haitong Bank participated in the meeting and gave a presentation on the Polish-Chinese political and economic relationship, overall investment environment and the potential opportunities. Bartłomiej Dmitruk, Senior Country Officer of Haitong in Poland, gave a detailed introduction on the following aspects: 1) Polish-Chinese political relationship and economic cooperation history; 2) Chinese investment in Europe and Poland in recent years; 3) the sectors that attract foreign investors (transportation, infrastructure, energy, food and TMT).
