While making this compilation, authors used current and financial reports published by companies, Haitong Bank’s estimates and information available in public and private databases.
Bartłomiej Dmitruk, Senior Country Officer of Haitong Bank, commented on the ranking’s results in Forbes. – The biggest heroes of this year's list are game developers. Not only did CD Projekt with a valuation of 17.9 billion zlotys become the second largest Polish company, but up to five companies from the sector entered the first hundred – said Bartłomiej Dmitruk. – However, it is worth remembering that this industry is sensitive to the sentiment of stock market investors. The companies’ businesses depend on the future success of the games they are only working on. – he added.
The other Haitong Bank team members, Ryszard Hermanowski, Wojciech Perek, Michał Bigoszewski, Łukasz Pierzkała, Łukasz Szałaśnik and Michał Kowalczyk, involved in creating the list commented, in turn, on the most interesting cases of companies from the ranking. Experts also pointed out at companies that, in their opinions, have the biggest potential to enter the Top 100 biggest Polish private enterprises. The experts distinguished STS, Itaka and Ten Square Games. Among the candidates for the next editions of the list they indicated Olimp Laboratories, WB Electronics and Satel.
Top 3 of the ranking slightly changed compared to the last year’s. The largest private company in terms of enterprise value is Cyfrowy Polsat. The position of the vice-leader was taken by CD Projekt, which a year ago ranked fourth. LPP took the last place of the podium, dropping one place compared to the previous edition.
