Maciej Jacenko comments on perspectives of IPOs on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2017

More and more companies are going to debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange due to 30 percent WIG increase during the last year

Raises in indexes along with higher turnovers and increasing company valuations create very attractive conditions for companies to go public – says Maciej Jacenko, Head of Equity Capital Markets in Haitong Bank in Warsaw.

In the article about perspectives of the IPO market in Poland, published by “Parkiet” ,Maciej Jacenko, Haitong Bank expert noted, that there can be observed a great deal of companies interest in IPO processes and there is a high probability of a significant increase in the number of IPOs on the WSE this year.

According to Maciej Jacenko, as far as companies present interesting “equity stories”, i.e. investment offers, investors should look favourably on both capital increase offers and sales of existing shares in IPOs. - Supporting company’s development with new capitals is a key feature of the capital market, states Maciej Jacenko.
