Haitong Bank and Morais Leitão law firm advise Sonae Capital on sale of Norscut

The shareholders of Norscut, which manages the A24 - Interior Norte motorway, have announced the signature of an agreement to sell 100% of their stake in the motorway concessionaire to Meridiam Infrastructure Europe (MIE).


Eiffage SA, Sonae Capital, BPCE SA and Egis Projects SA were the shareholders which this Tuesday, 5 April 2016, agreed to sell to Meridiam SAS the entire share capital of Norscut- Concessionária de Auto-Estradas. 
The completion of the transaction is subject to several conditions, namely the non-opposition of the competition authorities and the financing entities, which should be obtained before the end of the year.


The sellers were advised by Haitong Bank and the law firm of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados and Meridiam was advised by the law firm of Campos Ferreira, Sá Carneiro & Associados.
Sonae Capital, in particular, agreed to sell to MIE its 36% indirect stake in the Norscut motorway concessionary for EUR 42 million.
