HAITONG BANK, BESI’S NEW NAME
Novo Banco inherited BESI ready for sale. The sale was agreed with the Chinese Group Haitong for 379 million euros. The group changed the Banks name. Today known as Haitong Bank. The parent company has even injected recently 100 million into the institution. José Maria Ricciardi remains ahead of the investment bank.
