Jarosław Riopka, Haitong Bank’s Vice-President of Debt Capital Markets in Poland, evaluates the value of the Bonds Act in a positive way, despite having some reservations, which he clearly points out in the article, mentions that the Act opens new opportunities to construct structures, which make financing through bonds, similar in terms of risk to credit collaterals. Consequently, the new Law creates real alternative for bank credits. The Act was adopted by Polish Parliament in January 2015 and came into effect in July 2015.
