The Remuneration Policy has been updated over time under the Group's best governance practices, to be compliant with the most recent local and international regulatory requirements. The Remuneration Policy is connected to performance and enables the Bank to attract and retain professionals that best contribute to the Bank's sustainable growth.
The Remuneration Committee oversees the Policy and its application to the different geographies. The members of the Remuneration Committee are non-executive Directors with relevant experience in the Banking sector and adequate technical skills. The regular updates of the Remuneration Policy are made with consultation from other relevant functions, such as Compliance, Human Resources and Legal, in close collaboration with the Remuneration Committee. The ultimate corporate body to approve the Policy is the Bank's General Meeting.
